Chakra (1981)

This is a story of the shanties & slums that dot every mega city in the world.
A story of the search for shelter, security and the unalloyed small pleasures of life.
Yong Benwa (Ranjit Choudhary) and his amma (Smita Patil) lives in a small hovel in one of the teeming slum of Bombay. Amma dreams of a shack of her own, small pleasure of food drink and love making. Benwa dreams of being like Looka (Naseeruddin Shah). A man who solves his problem with a flick of a knife or the flash of a smile.
A series of evens, violent, seemingly without provocation, unconnected, brings about a astounding climax.

**Good but can be better, Love making scenes are incompetent and can be avoided.
